<\/p>


This is a sticky mixture of bacteria and the substances they secrete, which \u201csit\u201d on our teeth. Initially this sticky layer is soft and brittle and is easily removed by brushing. If, however, is left to chance and without medical supervision, the plaque accumulation hardens, forming a stone (calculus) on teeth.<\/p>


We all have plaque. The bacteria act continuously in the mouth by creating plaque. Whether it will become harmful plaque or not depends on us alone, meaning how often we brush our teeth and how we brush them.<\/p>

To prevent the accumulation of plaque and thus the creation of stone with all the negative consequences such as gingivitis and periodontitis, we should:<\/p>

\u2022 Brush our teeth regularly and especially after each big or small meal.<\/p>

\u2022 Use dental floss.<\/p>

\u2022 Eat fruits and vegetables that are suitable for physical combat of plaque such as carrots, apples, cucumbers, etc.<\/p>

\u2022 Avoid sweets<\/p>

\u2022 Visit our dentist regularly.<\/p>
